??? On Saturday, 16 May, the exchange students from Germany, France, Canada, Spain, Korea and the students from Sun Yat Sen Translation College came to MSASYU and spent a plendid day with MSASYU students. This was a unique opportunity that our students could associate with the foreigners and be acquainted with their special cultures.

??? In the morning, the visitors offered us lecture about the significance of their countries, such as the landscape of Germany, the legendary of the Louvre Museum, the maple in Canada, the story of a Spanish bullfight, the kimchi in Korea. The class provoked discussions among each other regarding the difference of custom and lifestyle. In the end, all students had close nteraction with the foreigners and were in the best of pleasure.

??? After lunch, the visitors and students played a fun activity called “Running Man” in the speech hall. In the game, every participant grasped the chance to communicate with foreigners and practice their oral language. Our school students spared no efforts to demonstrate the rules to the exchange students. Through patient explanation, our overseas guests understood how it works eventually.

??? Apart from the fun game in the afternoon, the MSASYU peers guided the guest to a cruise ride in the Pearl River. Our volunteer tourism guide introduced the natural beauty and culture of Guangzhou’s specialty to our foreign friends. They showed great interests in the nature and Chinese culture and?
raised a lot of questions with curiosity. During the process, we made good use of Chinese, English and German to present our perspectives of our glamorous city.

??? In conclusion, this activity is of great enhancement of students’ ability of communication, socialization and oral language application. Without a good foundation of foreign language skills, it is a difficult task to associate with people who do not speak Chinese. In addition, it is hard to comprehend a culture without learning its language. We hope that this activity could attract more students in foreign language learning. Let’s look forward to the script of students from the Middle School attached to the Sun Yat-sen University

奔跑吧，附中学子！
——记中山大学翻译学院留学生团附中行

??? 5月16日星期六，来自德国、法国、加拿大、西班牙、韩国、日本等国家的中大留学生们及翻译院的哥哥姐姐们来到附中，与我校学生度过了精彩纷呈的一天。

??? 上午，来自各国的留学生们深入我们的外语特色班级，给我们带来了关于德国、法国、加拿大、西班牙、韩国及日本的文化盛宴。

??? 这些留学生们给附中学生讲德国的地理概貌、法国的卢浮宫传奇、加拿大的枫叶、西班牙斗牛的故事、韩国的泡菜文化、日本的纳豆口味……与学生们在课堂上进行了各种良好的互动。

??? 下午,为了锻炼我们的口语交际能力，在讲学厅里，附中学生和留学生们进行了有趣的游戏——“running man”。因为这个游戏规则比较复杂, 我们绞尽脑汁费力地为留学生讲解游戏规则，可是无论我们怎么讲“running man” 规则，那些留学生们大多呆萌萌地看着我们，似乎感到无可奈何！

??? 没有办法，我们只好一边叽叽呱呱地操着英德混杂的外语，一边手舞足蹈地示范……终于，他们勉强弄懂了。

??? 除了“running man”，我们还玩了其他有趣的活动，在活动中，我们认识了彼此，增进了友谊……大家不分年龄，肤色，国籍，打成一片。

??? 夜幕降临，我们带着留学生们体验珠江夜游，欣赏着珠江两岸的夜晚美景。同学们担当起了小导游的角色，为留学生们介绍了广州自然风光和文化特色，留学生都对此表现出极大的兴趣，也向我们提出了不少的问题。在交流过程中，我们用了汉语、英语和德语三种语言，努力向他们介绍我们眼中的广州。

??? 这次活动既有趣又有意义，增加了大家学习外语的兴趣，更提高了大家的外语水平。让我们共同期待同学们后续的手抄报作品吧！
